FindYourFit organized a holistic well-being event, a comprehensive experience addressing wellness’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and social facets. It was a transformative journey encompassing mind, body, and soul, where participants discovered tools and practices to cultivate balance, vitality, and fulfilment in every aspect of their lives. a. Ayurveda Advantage

We had a panel discussion on “Ayurveda Advantage”, led by Vikram Sharma, a seasoned practitioner and heir to the Baidyanath family legacy, in which we explored the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and its relevance in modern living. This session was aimed to demystify Ayurveda and highlight its practical applications for enhancing health and wellness in contemporary society.

Understanding Tridosha:

  • Vata, Pitta, and Kapha represent combinations of the five elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth).
  • These Doshas influence bodily functions, personality traits, and disease susceptibility.

A comprehensive understanding of Tridosha helps individuals gain insights into their innate tendencies.

Personalized Wellness:

  • Vikram Sharma emphasized the importance of Prakriti, your unique mind-body type.
  • By tailoring dietary recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and herbal remedies to your dominant Dosha(s), you can:
  • Cultivate vitality and resilience
  • Prevent imbalances

b. Addressing Anxiety and Stress in Young Indians

In another panel discussion featured by Kairavi Bharat Ram and Shelja Sen in conversation with Puneeta Roy, addressed a critical issue in contemporary society: the increasing prevalence of personal anxiety and stress among young individuals in India. This trend affects individuals on a personal level and has significant social repercussions.

During the session, the panellists delved into the underlying social issues and provocations that contribute to the fears and dysfunctionalities experienced by India’s youth.

This discussion was focused on exploring healing strategies and solutions to address this situation and build resilience among young people. These strategies encompassed a holistic approach that included mental health awareness, self-care practices, support networks, therapy, and community interventions.

c. Luke Countino talked on Embracing Small Wins Every Day

This discussion described the valuable insights into harnessing the potential of the mind by focusing on achieving small victories each day. 

Luke Coutinho emphasized the importance of breaking down larger aspirations into manageable steps to facilitate lasting change in various aspects of life, including health, relationships, and careers.  

During the session, Coutinho shared simple yet potent strategies aimed at rewiring the brain for triumph. These strategies included techniques for setting realistic goals, cultivating positive habits, practising mindfulness, and maintaining consistency in efforts towards personal growth and development.
